Clarifications

Method statement · Clarifications holds operational answers in a two-column layout with sticky jump-nav on the left. Every question and answer is visible without JavaScript — no accordion, no hidden panels.

Ten questions cover briefs, timelines, remote work, research, deliverables, revisions, confidentiality, agency hand-off, message drift and contact routing.

Read top to bottom or jump via the nav rail. Answers are written in plain Singapore English with British spelling.

Context: Transparency builds trust faster than adjectives. Clients who understand our modes engage with clearer expectations — which is what we want before any proposal is signed.

What should a first brief include?

Send context on category, audience, current materials and the decision you need to make — not a list of deliverable formats. Attach existing positioning drafts, homepage copy and any research you already trust. We reply during desk hours with a suggested mode and a realistic sequence; we do not start billable work from a single-line email.

How long does a positioning sprint take?

A positioning sprint runs two weeks from kick-off to read-out, assuming interviews can be scheduled within the first three days. Narrative workshops and full systems builds take longer; we state duration in the proposal before you commit. Rush requests that skip research steps are declined — speed without evidence produces fragile positions.

Do you work with teams outside Singapore?

Yes. We work with regional headquarters and distributed comms teams across APAC. Sessions may run on video; documents are written in Singapore English with British spelling. Time zones are grouped so review rounds do not span more than one working day of lag.

What research methods do you use?

We combine stakeholder interviews, review of primary company materials, category language scans and on-the-record competitor copy analysis. We do not present consumer survey statistics on this site; when primary research is required, we scope it in the proposal and name the partner if work is subcontracted.

What do clients receive at the end of an engagement?

Deliverables depend on mode: positioning documents, narrative drafts, hierarchy ladders, voice guides, editorial calendars or systems handbooks. Each file is dated, versioned and delivered as editable documents — not locked PDFs. A read-out session walks leadership through decisions and open threads.

How are revisions handled?

Each mode includes a defined number of revision rounds stated in the proposal. Revisions address clarity and alignment with agreed strategy, not unlimited tonal experiments. Material scope changes — new product lines, new markets — trigger a change note and, if needed, a separate mode rather than silent expansion.

How is client material treated?

Briefs and working documents stay within the engagement team on secured storage. We do not use client names in public case studies unless agreed in writing. Portfolio references on this site describe methods only, not client identities or outcomes.

Can our creative agency use your documents?

Yes — systems documentation is written for hand-off. Creative agencies receive hierarchy ladders and voice guides intended for direct application in campaigns. We can join a single alignment session with your agency at read-out; standing retainer relationships with third parties are arranged separately if needed.

What if our message drifts again after the project?

Drift is normal as teams grow. We recommend a message audit annually or after major product launches. The systems handbook includes a change log discipline so edits stay traceable. We do not operate always-on policing; we give you tools to self-check.

Who reads [email protected]?

The strategy director on duty reads editorial mail during Mon–Fri 09:30–18:30 SGT. Include your name, organisation and the decision you need help with. Privacy requests go to [email protected] separately.
